The Q2-5000 is a heavy-duty gantry hydraulic shear designed for processing and cutting various types of scrap metal. Equipped with two oil cylinders, it comprises a main pressure cylinder responsible for the actual shearing work, and a feed pressure cylinder used to securely hold down the material being cut.

Thanks to its efficient sequential control system, the cutting cylinder only starts working once the feed cylinder has already completed its task, thus preventing any unwanted shaking, jumping or splashing of the materials being sheared. This also ensures optimal safety during the cutting process.

The gantry structure of the shear provides an open cutting mouth, allowing it to handle various plate materials and making it especially suitable for processing steel plates. It can effectively replace flame cutting, significantly reducing overall production costs.

The Q2-5000 consists of several key components, including the mainframe, feeding machine, hydraulic oil cylinder, electric motor, among others. All valves are assembled with plug-in valves (also called work valves), one-way valves (for oil intake), and oil drain valves (for oil return).

Additionally, the fully automatic gantry shear is equipped with oil return filters, couplings, main oil pipes, elbow pipes, and other parts. The mainframe comprises left and right beams, upper and lower beams, blades, blade seats, and wear-resistant copper plates. Two removable hydraulic oil tanks are installed above the mainframe, providing ample storage capacity for extended operation times.

The feeding machine can be customized in length, up to 8 meters long, and features NM-500 wear-resistant plates on both sides and at the bottom. Multiple motors are connected to the oil pump via couplings, which are attached to a shock-absorbing base, greatly reducing any vibrations.

The Q2-5000 is ideal for cutting various types of scrap metal such as round bars, square bars, steel plates, and heavy scrap steel. It is an essential equipment for steel rolling plants, scrap metal recycling companies, metal factories, and metallurgical plants. Compared to conventional cutting machines, the Q2-5000 has a larger blade opening, making it ideal for cutting uneven plates and achieving high efficiency.

To ensure optimal performance, it is important to strictly follow the operation manual and lubrication chart, regularly clean the machine, replace the lubricating oil, and inspect the electrical parts for safety and reliability. The Q2-5000 comes equipped with a 37Kw x 3/2 motor and three 160A7V8 oil pumps, providing a blade size of 1600mm and a chamber size of 6000mm x 1600mm.
